Rodney Rudd, President

Rodney began working for the company in 1977 as one of the third generation of Rudd's. In 1981 Rodney acquired his Texas Journeyman Plumbing license and worked as a field foreman until 1994 when he obtained his Texas Master Plumbing license. Rudd Plumbing now operates under Rodney's master license.
All the operations of the plumbing division are overseen by Rodney. He is very quality oriented and stresses this in everything from new construction and remodels to the service work. Rodney believes that Rudd Plumbing will never sacrifice quality work for money at anytime. Quality work with good customer service are his number one priorities.


Ross Rudd, Vice President & Service Manager

Ross also began as a plumber's apprentice in 1982 with the company. Ross has over 30 years of plumbing experience working on both new and remodel projects and service work. He presently serves as the Service Manager for our company. He oversees the scheduling of our repair plumbers, as well as, consults with our clients with their service related questions. He holds a Journeyman Plumber License in Texas.


David Rudd, Secretary / Treasurer & General Manager

David began his fire sprinkler career with Rudd Contracting Co., Inc. in 1984. He has 30 years of experience in estimating, sales, and design of all types of automatic water based fire protection systems. After 9 1/2 years absence from the company, David re-joined the Rudd Team as General Manager. His primary responsibilities involve overseeing the day to day operations of the fire sprinkler division. He holds a Level IV certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), Texas Responsible Managing Employee License (RME), and an Associates Degree from Tyler Junior College.


Ken Rudd, Estimator

Ken represents a 4th generation at Rudd. He started his career as a plumber's helper in 1992. He holds a Journeyman Plumber License in Texas. He later transferred to Rudd Fire Protection as a fitter. Ken now oversees the scheduling of fire sprinkler crews and estimates fire sprinkler projects small to large.


Rusty Meadville, Plumbing Sales Manager

Rusty started with Rudd Plumbing Co. in 1978 as a Plumbers Apprentice. In 1981, he acquired his Journeyman Plumbing License overseeing the plumbing installation on new construction and construction remodel projects. In 2005, Rusty moved in the office where he started estimating plumbing projects and overseeing plumbing field personnel. Starting in 2010, Rusty was promoted to Plumbing Sales Manager where he is responsible for customer relations, estimating plumbing projects, and coordination with contractors.

With over 35 years of commercial and residential plumbing experience, Rusty brings expertise to the table when working with clients. He holds a Journeyman Plumber License in Texas. He holds an Advance Training Certificate for A.O. Smith water products service.


Chris Adee, Fire Sprinkler Designer

Chris began his career with Rudd in 2004. He holds a Level IV certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in fire sprinkler system layout. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Univerisity of Texas at Tyler and hopes to bring that engineering expertise to Rudd Fire Protection. He successfully completed the Beginning Fire Sprinkler Designer Training School offered by the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA).  He also is a Texas Responsible Managing Employee (RME).


Richard Wacaser, Fire Protection Construction Superintendent

Richard started his career at Rudd in 1983 as a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice. In 1985, he became a Fire Sprinkler Fitter installing fire sprinkler systems in new construction projects and construction remodels. From 1987 to 1996, he worked in the Plumbing Division as an Apprentice assisting in the installation of new construction projects and construction remodels.

From 1996 to 2006, he returned to his duties as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter. In 2006 Richard was promoted to Fire Protection Construction Superintendent overseeing quality control, coordination with clients, fire sprinkler field personnel, and the installation of fire sprinkler systems from small to large. Richard acquired his Texas RME III General Inspection License in 2010 for inspecting and testing water based Fire Sprinkler Systems.


JN Williams, Plumbing Construction Superviser

JN began his career at Rudd in 1998 as a Plumbers Apprentice. He worked as an Apprentice until 2001 when he acquired his Journeyman Plumbing License. He worked as a Plumbing Foreman overseeing new plumbing projects and construction remodels until 2010. Meanwhile, JN received his Master Plumbing License in 2006.

He now assumes the responsibility of overseeing all plumbing projects from small to large. His duties include quality control, scheduling of plumbing projects, customer relations, and managing plumbing construction personnel.


Tommy Griffin, Plumbing Services Dispatcher

Tommy Griffin started as an apprentice plumber in Plano, Texas in 1978.  Tommy was licensed in the state of Texas as a journeyman plumber in 1982 and a year later in 1983 was licensed as a master plumber. Tommy came to Rudd in 2000 as a service technician. Tommy holds certifications in A.O. Smith water heaters & training in sales and service. In January of 2010, Tommy was promoted to Service Department Supervisor where he is in charge of dispatching service work for 7 service technicians.


Greg Rudd

Greg began his plumbing career with Rudd in 1983, after graduating from high school. Shortly thereafter he left the company to pursue a career as an electrician. In 1993 Greg re-entered the plumbing field and obtained his Texas Journeyman Plumber License. He returned to Rudd in 1995 installing plumbing systems in large commercial and industrial facilities. Greg later moved into the Plumbing Service Department performing plumbing repair services for homes and businesses in the East Texas Area. Most recently, Greg has moved into the office where he works with our Plumbing Sales Department. Greg holds a Texas Journeyman Plumber License. He is also certified to test and repair backflow prevention assemblies and is licensed in propane.
